24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week
I've discovered/re-discovered some great music in the last couple weeks. I've been listening to these non-stop; at night, in the morning, during breaks at work, just whenever I have a minute I'm listening to one of these. Any recommendations based on these current digs? |
| 1 | | Sufjan Stevens Illinois
Absolutely incredible. The lush orchestration and hushed vocals combine with a plethora of other instruments (a banjo? a french horn?) to make one of the most pleasant surprises I've had all year. |
| 2 | | Iron and Wine Our Endless Numbered Days
So chill and laid-back. I really want Shepard's Dog now. Oh by the way the lady types love this one. |
| 3 | | Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III
Some of their best acoustic stuff. Gallow's Pole? Tangerine? freaking awesome. |
| 4 | | mewithoutYou Brother, Sister
I really took this for granted for a long time. |
| 5 | | Radiohead In Rainbows
Just awesome. Almost every song it incredible. |
| 6 | | Sonic Youth Daydream Nation
I don't know what it is about this album that separates it from everything else. |
| 7 | | Joy Division Closer
I'm still trying to digest it. It's my first 'post-punk' album. It's weirdly appealing. |
| 8 | | Beck Odelay!
Such a huge mish-mash of genres that somehow clicks. |
