06.08.09 | Lacking a certain Wes Anderson film but I'll let it slide. | bloc
06.08.09 | fadetoblack, the list only goes up to 30! | ninjuice
06.08.09 | I'm not a fan of Anderson at all. I'm assuming you mean The Royal Tenenbaums? | FadeToBlack
06.08.09 | Using the process of elimination, one would assume I was mentioning 3 | AliW1993
06.08.09 | 4 is my fav of the movies, some great albums too. | iarescientists
06.08.09 | eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is in fact the greatest movie of all-time
good call | myhigherpie
06.08.09 | hot fuzz... is the most hilarious british comedy I have ever seen. | PuddleSwimmer
06.08.09 | HOT FUZZ IS TOTALLY AWESOME
As is Cuckoo's Nest and The Departed
...and the Bourne series
(and Braveheart) | lauriej
06.08.09 | I DEMAND TO KNOW WHICH CRASH MOVIE | ninjuice
06.08.09 | The best and most famous one. I'm hoping that's fairly obvious. | Titan50
06.08.09 | For albums 2, 5, 7, 11, 13, 20, 22
For films 9, 9, 9, 15, 22, 30 and OMG YOU HAVE 26 ON YOUR LIST :D | Chewie
06.08.09 | missing some, Children Of Men, V For Vendetta, Silence Of The Lambs, Shawshank Redemption, Monty Python And The Holy Grail, A Clockwork Orange, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Pulp Fiction.
but Kill Bill, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, The Matrix, ALIENS, LOTR and Hot Fuzz make up for it
albums are great too, | Yotimi
06.08.09 | Memento is so underrated. And yes Derek, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is classic as is Shawshank. Do British ppl usually like The Holy Grail? | FadeToBlack
06.08.09 | yep | ninjuice
06.08.09 | derek I like pretty much all of those but I tried to go with one film per director, otherwise half of both lists would be by the same directors/bands (Spielberg, Tarantino, Rise Against, Dark Tranquillity, etc) V For Vendetta, Clockwork Orange and Pulp Fiction aren't up there for that reason, and there's at least 5 other Spielberg movies I like more than Close Encounters. | Chewie
06.08.09 | well I dunno, if I were to mkae one of these lists, I would put up my favorite movies/albums, straight up, regardless of how many times the same director/group is mentioned.
I guess The Matrix is a bit better then V For Vendetta, but Pulp Fiction kicks the shit out of Kill Bill(not that its bad at all) and Close Encounters is GODLY.
Oh and I forgot to mention Thank You For Smoking, that movie's great | Nikkolae
06.08.09 | 1 and 28 are my two favorite movies ever, album 2 is sick as hell but i dont think there is one weak album here | paxman
06.10.09 | Crash was awful. The Dark Knight was a letdown. So was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The Matrix was alright until it got ruined by its two successors. Thank You For Smoking is great, but too short. Minority report is excellent. No Country For Old Men is possibly the best film ever made. The Departed is good.
As for music, 4, 5, 11, 19, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30. | ninjuice
06.10.09 | First three sentences of your post are fail. Crash rules and The Dark Knight >>>>>> Batman Begins >>>> every other Batman movie |
