06.04.09 | It's not bad as long as you're listening to Say Anything. Check out In Defense of the Genre if you haven't already.
Then check out Deja Entendu and The Devil and God from Brand New.
For more straightforward stuff, Tell All Your Friends from Taking Back Sunday and This Is A Stick Up from Hit The Lights. Hit The Lights are sort of hit and miss but it's good stuff, really. I'll try and think of more later, pop punk is awesome. |

06.04.09 | From 2001 to 2005 all I listened to was pop/punk. I'm sort of ashamed, but now I can filter through and listen to the best. Here are my faves that you haven't listed:
*Saves the Day - Stay what you are (get this now)
Brand New - Deja Entendu & The Devil and God
*Park - No Signal, It Won't Snow Where You're Going (get these now)
The Movielife - 40 Train Back to Penn
Armor For Sleep - Dream to Make Believe
*The Early November - For All of This & The Rooms too cold (get these now too)
Weezer - Blue Album
*Rufio - Mcmlxxxv(1985)
Homegrown - Kings of Pop
Midtown - Forget What You Know
Offspring - Smash
Yellowcard - One for the Kids
New Found Glory - Sticks and Stones (their only good album imo)
Facing New York - S/T
Fenix TX - Lechuza
Most die-hards will tell you Gatsby's American Dream and Jimmy Eat World which you might like but I'm not a big fan.

11.09.09 | dude no offense, but you're kinda insane. sum 41's chuck is about as far away from 'pop-punk' as i can imagine. did you even listen to that album. there isn't a single poppy song on it, and most of the others are alternative metal or alternative rock (plus a few ballads), not punk. |
Asiatic667
11.09.09 | why are you coming to comment on a months-old list? |
SeaAnemone
11.09.09 | Yotimi's list is best... but please please please listen to...
Northstar - Pollyanna
not as well known on Sputnik, but one of my favorites of the genre next to Brand New, Par, and Say Anything |
