| Can You Rec Me Some... | | 1 | Instrumental Death/Black Metal Bands
I've started exploring metal again, and it would be cool to have a band that had the awesome drums/guitarwork but not the grotty vocals. | | 2 | Really Great Pianists
or bands/songs that have really great piano parts. | | 3 | Interesting (Prog? Electronica? Jazz Fusion?) bands
preferably bands with cheap albums. | | 4 | Bands You Love
Thanks. | |

05.28.09 | 1. Scale the Summit
not death/black really, more progressive instrumental metal but are quite good at their instrumentation. similar to blotted science, dysrhythmia, BTBAM (minus vocals).
ive heard canvas solaris is quite good as well (for 1) | ninjuice
05.28.09 | 2: Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes, New Born
Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death 1 and 2 (two different songs), heck just get the whole album hopefully you'll like it.
Kamelot - Abandoned (I heavily recommend the whole Black Halo album too)
Dark Tranquillity - The Mundane and the Magic
those aren't all very amazing but they're great songs.
3 - You've heard of The Mars Volta, right?
Also try some Sarah Fimm. Her White Birds EP is free on her website, and if you like that try Nexus (it's only $7 on Amazon and I reviewed it recently /shameless plug) | ninjuice
