Favorite Albums
The albums I could not live without. This could change in the future - in fact, I'm sure it will. |
1 | | Radiohead OK Computer
No other is so complete. This album really affects you. |
2 | | Radiohead Amnesiac
First Radiohead album I ever listened to. Love it. |
3 | | U2 Achtung Baby
Every song on this album is magic. U2 haven't topped it since. |
4 | | Jimi Hendrix Axis: Bold as Love
Hendrix's most concise, polished album. The title track is awe-inspiring. |
5 | | Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Shine On You Crazy Diamond is the finest tribute a man could ever receive. The title track is also one of the greatest acoustic ballads ever recorded. |
6 | | Blur Blur
Beetlebum, Song 2, On Your Own....this is a great Britpop album. |
7 | | Oasis Modern Life is Rubbish
For Tomorrow alone would make this album great, but songs like Blue Jeans, Chemical World, and Advert keep the bar high for the entire album. |
8 | | Radiohead The Bends
I'm a big Radiohead fan - can you tell? Fake Plastic Trees is right up there with Wish You Were Here. |
9 | | Elvis Costello Armed Forces
Costello's lyrics make other artists look like amateurs. Oliver's Army is so scathing it hurts. |
10 | | U2 Pop
I know that many hold this album in contempt, but I think it's one of U2's greatest efforts. If only they were this daring now. |
