The Best Songs To Trip To

Something abit different to the normal lists on here This is for all the people who are seeking great, trance filled music to melt your brain to. I enjoy criticism and condone hate filled threats
1Radiohead
Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors

This song makes almost no sense while sober, but when your head is heavy and your mouth is full of cotton lay back and enjoy the heavy beat mess with your senses and the elluding melody send you to a different planet.
2The Orb
Little Fluffy Clouds

This mystical masterpiece is a beautiful ambient, trance-inducing song. The deive details in the 'lyrics' will send your body flying - the first time i listened to this i couldnt tell wether my eyes were open or not.
3The Arctic Monkeys
505

The opening organ vibrates inside of your head. The song escalates as it progresses and when the guitars become intense is when your body will get the full experience. This is also a great song to listen to while you are sobered up
4Evermore
Between the Lines

The aussie boys' latest single sends shivers down your spine with the synths reminiscent of 'On The Run' by Pink Floyd. This is a great song to both relax to and dance to.
5The Smashing Pumpkins
1979

This is such a shaky song (the guitar) and the mind will shake in time. Close your eyes and let the visuals slide into behind your lids
6Radiohead
Bones

Hah, i fucking love this song. The intro gets me everytime. Go and listen to this song right now so i dont have to explain
7Daft Punk
The Prime Time of Your Life / The Brainwasher / Rollin' & Scratchin' / Alive

(From Alive 2007)
Probably the one of my favourite albums to listen to while dancing. But this is one of the stand out tracks for me. Its a ten minute epic that doesnt stop.
8Muse
Shrinking Universe

You should've gotten by now, i love the stuttery guitar. Matt's vocals are to die for. The subtle synth when concentrated on will give you all the hallucinations you could ask for.
9MGMT
Time to Pretend

One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands. This one will make you want to just dance naked, roll around in mud and take somw brown acid.
10Aural Planet
Hydropoetry Cathedra

Check this song out. Atleast get on youtube and sample a couple minutes of it. I'm only just getting into this kind of music and love it. The watery feel towards it, the ambience visuals that are like candy to your eye, the poetry in only the music. If the sea had a preference to music, this is it.
11Radiohead
Wierd Fishes/Arpeggi

I know, i know... another Radiohead song. But i can't just ignore my most played song (i'm a junkie). The guitars all playing and mixing a great sound that only Radiohead is capable of. It has a very watery feel throughout the song. In the middle it slows a little down and it gives a feeling of floating. Breathing. Being.
12Tool
(-) ions

I really recommend while listening, let the music flow from one side of the ear to the other. Also listening through headphones are a must. Give this song a chance. It goes great while just relaxing.
13Nirvana
Frances Farmer....

Nirvana?! While high?! Yes... Anything from In Utero is a great listen. Paticuarly Frances Farmer and Gallons of rubbing alcohol.
14Pink Floyd
Comfortably Numb

Need i explain? If you have the P.U.L.S.E DVD that has a great version that is also a sight for the eyes. The guitar solos will absolutely blow your mind. Sending you to a green and purple planet and back in a strawberry rocketship.
15The entirety of Dark Side of the Moon

This album has a special place in my heart. The first music i listened to while i got high for the first time. Trust me, when you will get to On The Run, you will thank me. Fireworks and your own special lightshow. Like Lazer Floyd, but all behind your eyelids. What more could you ask for?
