| Incredibly Good Choruses
Some sex choruses | 1 | | Sum 41 Chuck
No Reason - epic | 2 | | Dropkick Murphys The Warriors Code
Captain Kelly's Kitchen - ultimate drinking song | 3 | | Rise Against Siren Song of the Counter Culture
Tip the Scales - self explanatory | 4 | | dredg Catch Without Arms
Matroshka (The Ornament) - side note: this is not up for debate, the lyrics
are fantastic and the singing is full of emotion. What should be lame is
presented with total ingenuity | 5 | | Thrice Vheissu
Image of the Invisible - I understand this isn't one of their best, but as far
as choruses go, this one is ace. Climactic, meaningful, and with some cool
whammy goin on with the guitar in the background | 6 | | Katatonia Viva Emptiness
Evidence - this may not even be the best chorus on the album, but the
entire song is just so powerful that it makes the chorus that much more
memorable... "if you die, I will die too..." | 7 | | Jimmy Eat World Futures
The World You Love | |

05.17.09 | i would say Bug Eyes for 4. that chorus is awesome. | marksellsuswallets
05.17.09 | ^yes | Knott-
05.17.09 | everything on 7 is chorus crazy brilliance. | Masochist
05.17.09 | LOL...#4 is just out of place on the album; if it had come out a record or two earlier, it might have been appreciated more. I agree, though, it's got an amazing chorus.
#7 is one of my favorite songs from Futures, but that's a terrible c.d. to have to choose a favorite chorus from. "Pain," "Futures," "Work" and "Nothingwrong" are all songs that could've been in #7's place (I might've actually put up "Futures," personally).
Good list. | renegadestrings
05.17.09 | honestly, i didn't put this in any particular order. #1 is there because it inspired me to make the list | pyogeniccortex
05.17.09 | Needs more Swallow the Sun - Silence of the Womb | ninjuice
05.17.09 | First three and Invisible rule so hard. | Yazz_Flute
05.17.09 | 1 is fucking awesome. 5 and 6 too.
Im gonna be honest I don't remember what the chorus to 3 sounds like off the top of my head...Injection or Rumors of My Demise would have been a better choice imo. | kitsch
05.17.09 | my fav choruses atm are
full disclosure - fugazi
guys eyes - animal collective | iarescientists
05.17.09 | i don't listen to music with choruses because that kind of music is generally poppy and accessible to mainstream audiences | ninjuice
05.17.09 | bodom Injection is on Sufferer.
Tip The Scales goes "when this is all said and done, we live this life on the run, judged by the company we keep..." | Yazz_Flute
05.17.09 | yeah I know its on sufferer, im just saying it would be a better choice | renegadestrings
05.20.09 | now that i think about it, for 3 I was more referring to the pre-chorus... "we're throwing wrenches in the gears, our lives will not be lived in vain,".... that part to me is extremely powerful. but i agree "rumors of my demise" has an incredible chorus as well, if not better | Blindsided
11.17.09 | Yes to 2. | Rogue Six
12.29.09 | I'm Shipping to Boston's also a very great drinking song. but Captain Kelly's Kitchen is very much epic. | feav233
12.29.09 | use to be such a big fan of 1 and 7, and haven't listened to either in awhile, |
