| Albums That Lead Me To Sputnik
Even though I don't listen to these much anymore, it seemed like a good idea for my first list to be the albums that got me into music. | 1 | | Linkin Park Live in Texas
The beginning of the end really. Back when i'd never heard anything but what was on the radio i though these guys were so heavy and had the deepest lyrics ever (i was young). I owe these guys for leading me into metal. | 2 | | Korn Take a look in the mirror
Its sounds funny now that i know so much of the music thats out there but this album legitimately scared me when i first heard it, id never heard anything like it. this was my cross over album away from stuff i heard on the radio and started my nu-metal fad (i had to start somewhere to find what metal really had to offer). Can still throw it on occasionally for old times sake. | 3 | | Metallica Metallica
Another album that helped me find metal. | 4 | | Placebo Sleeping With Ghosts
When i first got into (nu) metal I went through a stage were i didnt give anything else a go. Placebo were one of the only bands i did listen too and now that so many of my favouite artists are alt rock and indie i owe placebo for reminding me theres a world outside metal. | 5 | | Eminem The Eminem Show
This came before any of the others. It was the first album I got with my own money and the first album i ever really got into, before that i rarely even listened to much music. even now i still enjoy some hip hop and rap but this album just had such a big part in getting me into music i had to include it here. | |

04.24.09 | 3 was the album that got me into metal as well. Placebo are amazing, though I think SWG is their worst album. I've been getting into Eminem recently, so I'll get TES pretty soon, and I like some nu-metal but not LP or Korn. | bloc
04.25.09 | nothing to be ashamed of, especially if this is what you started with. |
