| Bands' Most Famous Songs And The Songs I Prefer
DISCLAIMER:
I love these bands, and the songs that I have as most popular are still some of my favorite songs from the artists. Also, I realize that the popularity of each of these songs is regional, and whats popular where I live may not be very popular where you live (for example, Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" in the U.S. vs in Finland). The songs I have as their "most famous" are what I have concluded are the most famous in my area. | 1 | Read the Above First !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | 2 | Most Popular Songs: ================== | 3 | Black Sabbath Iron Man | 4 | Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven | 5 | Metallica Enter Sandman | 6 | Rage Against the Machine Killing in the Name | 7 | Pink Floyd Another Brick in the Wall (Pt. 2) | 8 | Tool The Pot | 9 | The Who Baba O'Riley | 10 | The Songs I Prefer: ================== | 11 | Black Sabbath Fairies Wear Boots | 12 | After Forever | 13 | Lord of this World | 14 | Led Zeppelin The Rover | 15 | Since I've Been Loving You | 16 | Achilles Last Stand | 17 | Metallica Leper Messiah | 18 | Battery | 19 | Harvester of Sorrow | 20 | Rage Against the Machine Know Your Enemy | 21 | Bombtrack | 22 | Vietnow | 23 | Pink Floyd Time | 24 | Echoes | 25 | Have a Cigar | 26 | Tool Ticks & Leeches | 27 | Pushit | 28 | Hooker with a Penis | 29 | The Who Water | 30 | Armenia City in the Sky | 31 | However Much I Booze | |

04.15.09 | Enter Sandman and Another Brick In the Wall are two of the most overrated songs I have ever heard.
Led Zeppelin: Kashmir, Stairway to Heaven, Dazed and Confused
Metallica: The Call Of The Ktulu, Battery, Ride The Lightning
Pink Floyd: Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Careful with that Axe, High Hopes
Tool: 10,000 Days, Lateralus, Reflection | Douchebag
04.15.09 | List is pretty much true. But baba o reily for the who? I would of said My Generation or won't get fooled again. but good job. | PuddleSwimmer
04.15.09 | Pretty good list idea | shindip
04.15.09 | I agree plenty with this list, although the most popular songs are all still bloody amazing. Vietnow needs more love. | Masochist
04.15.09 | Pinky's right, both songs are terribly overrated, and while they're both decent (and downright amazing when compared to the rest of the music industry as opposed to simply their respective discographies), they can't touch the best of those bands.
Well...maybe "Enter Sandman" can on the best of days. But I'll never understand why "Another Brick In the Wall, pt. II" became Pink Floyd's most famous song. | Avirov
04.15.09 | This list is made of such much win that, having made it, you couldn't POSSIBLY comprehend it.
If you haven't heard Pink Floyd's "Animals" yet, you must. If you have, good. | Jim
04.15.09 | another brick pt2 became amazingly popular for very obvious reasons. it's catchy, the lyrics are simple and fun to sing along to, and gilmour's guitar solo is as good as any. it was quite a deliberate ploy on roger waters' behalf to make sure the song was as commercial as possible.
enter sandman is quite a remarkable song for similar reasons. sure it pales in comparison to others, but its fun as hell | AliW1993
04.15.09 | Enter Sandman gets too much shit, it's actually one of my my fav metallica songs.
Also I'd agree that My Generation is themost poular Who song, in my area anyways. Baba O'Riley is better though, | Yotimi
04.15.09 | Not bad. In the U.S. (Ohio at least) RATM's most popular is Bulls On Parade by far. I would say Iron Man is right up there with Paranoid also. Tool's most popular is Schism or Sober. I agree with the songs you prefer being better for the most part but I still like Stairway the most from Led Zeppelin. |
