Better Female Vocalists (IE they arent all metal)

Well, I saw someone did this, but they didnt mention a single genre outside metal. Ill give this a shot
1Christina Aguilara

As much shit as Im going to get for saying this, I think Christina is one hell of a vocalist. Shes arguably the best pop vocalist in recent memory and is one of the few who arent over produced to the point of sounding synthetic.
2Christina Scabbia

Well, She may be this high on the list just because I think shes quite the looker, but regardless, she has an amazing voice. Her voice is probably the only reason I really listen to Lacuna Coil (although thats not to say they are necessarily bad in other respects). She's got an incredible range for a hard rock/metal vocalist, especially a female one, where most get quite monotonous. Oh how I'd love to do dirty things to her.
3Kathy Coppola

Any girl who can scream and truly evoke fear like she does is worthy of a position on this list. If I ever see Circle Takes the Square live, Im going to make sure I stand far enough back to avoid her scream melting my face off. Oh, and her spoken word and singing vocals are pretty damn great too
4Agent M

Arguably the most powerful vocalist in punk today, the frontwoman of the now defunct Tsunami Bomb, is probably the reason why Tsunami Bomb achieved the levels of popularity that they did. While the band backing her were typical skate punk fare, Agent M's vocals were nothing but, and what she lacks in range (ie, sticking to purely singing) she makes up for in pure power and conviction.
5P!nk

For all its worth, Im a bit of a P!nk fanboy. Granted, I might not listen to her all that often, but I do get extremely violent when someone tries to criticize her. Regardless, while P!nk is by no means the greatest female singer to grace the planet, she makes up for her possible short comings with pure balls and originality. Lets face it, no one gets P!nk confused with any other female pop singers, and if you did, sleep with one eye open. Shes a scary lady.
