Vooligan

Burning_October
03.21.09 | I say this whenever someone wants an emotional album:
Weezer - Pinkerton
Weezer - The Blue Album
Both are pop perfection, and both happen to be incredibly emotional (especially Pinkerton). Sure, the band sucks now, but in the 90's these guys had no equal, in my opinion (well, maybe Radiohead. Still, not quite). Anyway, get them. Their pretty much perfect. |
Golgoroth
03.21.09 | Am I the only one who had no problem at all with the beginning of King of Carrot Flowers pt 2?
Also great list. |
Nagrarok
03.21.09 | That's about as spot-on as it gets, Croc. And for emotion, I always refer to The Earth is Not A Cold Dead Place. |
Captain North
03.22.09 | Awesome, thanks guys. I now have a list of more than 50 albums I need to check out, not including the countless ones I've forgotten about. |
AbyssalCreation

Douchebag
03.22.09 | haha yeah don't take my response seriously.
On a serious note go with Pinkerton - Weezer. |
DaveyBoy
03.22.09 | Wow, a 4.5 for Evermore's newie!!! The reviews I have seen thus far have been fairly mixed, but mainly negative! |
Captain North
03.22.09 | Obviously they're all silly. It's an insanely good record, atm I can't really see much wrong with it, just an overlong track or two and maybe an unneccesary ballad. |
DaveyBoy
03.22.09 | For comparison sake, what did you rate their previos 2 albums Tom? |
Captain North
03.22.09 | Haven't listened to either for a long time, but from memory I'd probably give Dreams a 3 or 3.5 and their other one a 2 or 2.5. |
