Favorite Bands (first List)

I lurk here often, but this is my first real activity. Feel free to give me suggestions based on my tastes.
1Seether

Great music. Discovered them a couple years ago in high school. Like them because of the emotion that Shaun Morgan puts behind his lyrics and singing. Was disappointed for the most part in the most recent album from them.
2Chevelle

Tied for my favorite band with Seether. "This Type of Thinking" may be my all time favorite cd. Their cds have been more consistently good than Seether. Am looking forward to their new CD
3All That Remains

The first band I really enjoyed in the metalcore genre. I listened to Unearth first, but I did not like them as much. "The Fall of Ideals" is one of my all time favorite cds.
4Tool

Just a great band. Aenima is just epic.
5Nirvana

First band I really got into. The first cds I bought when I turned 16 and started driving. Still enjoy a listen from time to time.
6Red Hot Chili Peppers

Originally I didn't like them that much other than their singles because I couldn't get into the funk. However, once I got more interested in music and started playing bass I couldn't help but admire the slap n' pop ability of Flea. Great band.
7Nine Inch Nails

Have always been aware of this band, but haven't ever really sat down and listened to them until recently. I love "The Downward Spiral" both for the music and the fact that it is an outstanding concept album.
8Rage Against the Machine

I am not a huge fan of political lyrics, but I really enjoy listening to RATM. Their self-titled is very good and I am a fan of Morello.
9Between the Buried and Me

The only group on this list that I discovered through my couple years lurking sputnik. Everyone in the band is EXTREMELY talented and I love the music.
10Nickelback

The best for last. I truly believe they are the best group of artists to come around in the last 100 years. Led Zeppelin may be the only band that I know of that is better musically and lyrically. All time favorite....
