Ten Sweet Ass Albums

Ten of my favourite albums
1Glassjaw
Worship and Tribute

Probably my favourite album of all time, had a million spins and can still listen to it.
2Beastie Boys
Hello Nasty

The first "proper" record I bought (read: not limp bizkit) after hearing 3 mc's and one dj on mtv 2. The album blew my mind with its mix of genres, though it is a little long
3Radiohead
Kid A

An incredible album completely from the left field for Radiohead. OK Computer was a bit experimental for them but this album blew it out the water. There best record for me.
4DJ Shadow
Endtroducing

I bought this after reading an article describing him as the "jimi hendrix of turntables". I thought it would be a whirlwind of scratching, how wrong I was. An absolutely fantastic album, made better by the technical aspects behind it, and the months of crate digging to.
5Incubus
Morning View

Ah, nostalgia. Listening to this in the summers of high school and college was amazing, and listening to it now reminds of it. Also Are You In? and Wish You Were Here are great songs still.
6Nas
Illmatic

The best rap album ever. No question. Rhymes are sick, beats are sick, enough said really. Nas should do a whole album with DJ Premier.
7Alexisonfire
Alexisonfire

Ok, I probably lose some cred points for this, but I enjoy it. Dallas Greens voice is incredible, and the songs are just damn catchy.
8Brand New
Your Favourite Weapon

Speaking of cred... I know this isn't the record you are supposed to like, but I think it is brilliant. Considering how young they were, the songs are really well crafted and they definitely still hold up to this day.
9Converge
Jane Doe

Brutal from start to finish. Concubine/Fault and Fracture has to be one of my favourite one-two punches of all time.
10Thursday
Full Collapse

Like Worship and Tribute, still giving this some mad love. Melodic and aggressive at the same time, brill.
