The heat is wild my neck of the woods, so thought what better time to check this out. Can see why people consider this her best album. Me & My Imagination > Murder on the Dancefloor tbh
Hated Disaster when it came out (despite it being something right up my alley). This was alright, last 2 songs were cool but the clean singing in the closer sucks ass.
Adding at least 30 seconds to every song transformed the best album of hers since Fever to an album that in conversation with Fever & Impossible Princess as her best work. Super well composed disco throwback.
Super late to the party on this one compared to her other material: 00's RnB through the post-modern minimalism filter of Fever. Quite a strange record but holds up super well. Feel for You sucks though you can skip that one.
@@alkemestredux only on YouTube atm, but there's a lovely live performance of it from March. It's crazy how confident she sounds on the EP. You sometimes don't get that with already established artists, let alone someone as green as her.
