2006
Post-Punk Revival, Alternative Rock; Trip Hop
C'Mon Try a little bit, Oh My, Fashionably Uninvited and Orange Marmalade are just the few songs I like. The rest of the tracks were not my thing. | | 3 | | Paradise Lost Host
1999
Synthpop and Gothic Rock; Trip Hop
I often appreciate a metal band trying to make a dark electronic album. (Loathe - The Things They Believe or Wolves in the Throne Room - Celestite are the few examples)
Yes, it wasn't bad. The overall sound from the beginning to end gets samey. "It's Too Late" is nice for a different Paradise Lost I used to hear. So Much is Lost, Deep, Year of Summer and Host are the ones I like the most. But that's the only good things I can say after I heard the full album of it. | | 4 | | Project Pitchfork Eon:Eon
1998
Electro-Industrial; Industrial Rock, Darkwave
It's not bad. | | 5 | | Anne Clark Changing Places
1983
Minimal Synth, Coldwave and Spoken Word
Tracks 1-6 with David Harrow; Tracks 7-11 with Vini Reilly (from The Durutti Column in the 80s)
I like the songs with David Harrow. Not so much with Vini, sadly. I felt like I was listening to The Durutti Column's music again. | | 6 | | Quincy Jones Back on the Block
1989
Contemporary R&B, Hip Hop, New Jack Swing; Pop Soul
hmm...somehow this one wasn't my thing. | | 7 | | Quincy Jones The Dude
1981
Pop Soul, Contemporary R&B, Boogie; Funk
I like this one. | |
