Ave, had a busy month but still managed to listen to way too much new black/death metal.
this time around there is a top 12. it's honestly pretty meaningless and subject to change. who reads this description anyway? well, I do and I don't like what I'm reading right now... so I better stop. y'all have fun and a great may.
On that note there are a ton of war metal bands that are due for a new album, so fingers crossed they come in this year. Looking at you, Antichrist Siege Machine and Primitive Warfare.
Also, new Bogside too? Man I've been caught slacking lol
was a bit (pleasantly) surprised as well regarding Bogside, always figured it to be a one-off project for some reason.
I mean we had two Asm related releases this year with Fire Magic and Silver Wings. so he should have gotten all the pretty melodies out of his system and can now shift his focus again toward war metal.
Agreed haha yeah time for them to return to their roots and just bash some heads. I might have to review one of their past albums, they definitely deserve more love on Sputnik.
