03.27.26 | I think Ingrina - Ette Lys is an overlooked masterpiece. I also recommend Lvmen - Mondo, it's a Czech band clearly inspired by older Neurosis, but they have a style of their own and they absolutely rule.
Anyways, 3 is 1 but all of the names from the list are amazing of couse. Inle is sooo good. |

03.27.26 | Yeah, I went one album per band, otherwise I would just be enumerating the top discographies for most of it. Lvmen is a good shout (like them a lot). View their work primarily as metallically-inflected post rock but you are right to mention them. Will check battle of mice (have not listened to them yet). |

03.27.26 | Obscure Sphinx is a good shout (Void Mother is great). The Mire has a couple of records I (mildly) enjoy but they probably would not feature in a list like this for me. Blindead is a band I still need to check. Have heard Quietly, but I (much) prefer The Ties That Blind to that record (which is the only Mouth of the Architect that really spoke to me thus far). |
