Wildcardbitchesss 03.17.26	Yep Red Chord is tight, I dig that newest Job for a Cowboy record too. And this is definitely letting personal love for Converge show, but I really like Umbra Vitae too. First record was fine, nothing special, but their second LP, Light of Death, is actually really good. Had it on regular rotation between its release and the new Converge. Cool band. To me Venom Prison and Methwitch are just peak tho, Venom Prison has a pretty standard deathcore sound, they’re just really fucking good at what they do, but Methwitch is a whole different beast. Pretty sure it’s a one man project too, dude is seriously talented. Indwell may very well be my favorite deathcore record ever. So many different stylistic changes (mathy, djenty and sludgy at times, some nu and alt metal etc) and they never feel forced or out of place.

Demon of the Fall 03.17.26	The Red Chord and Venom Prison are the only times I've liked deathcore to date ...although one of Dir En Grey's better albums also has a strong dxc influence I'm sure there are others.
Koris 03.17.26	^ Have you checked out Antagony? They're one of the pioneers of deathcore, but much like The Red Chord, they also incorporate a lot of grindcore and tech death into their sound. Quite a few experimental parts too, especially on their final album. Underrated band

Josh D. 03.17.26	I see they've still been active, but I clicked the album from the old days and this is the first paragraph of the review. I think it tells you everything you need to know. Before I start, I need to say something. People irrationally “hate” deathcore. This style of music is fast, and intense. Naturally, even good bands will get old and stale after awhile. But, to people who are constantly dissing on this type of music, I say you’ve done this to yourself. Immersing yourself in little musical variety will make you jaded with new bands who aren’t really trying anything super innovative, even if the music is pretty good. I say, go listen to something different, and keep a more open mind. If you don’t want fast and intense, go listen to something else.

Orphaned Land, Orphans Of Dusk, P.H.O.B.O.S., Pallbearer, Panzerfaust, Hanzel Und Gretyl, Hauntologist, Horn Of The Rhino, In Extremo, Inquisition, Pro-Pain, Prong, Psychostick, Rammstein, Root, Ruoska, Knorkator, Korn. Korpiklaani, KYPCK, are some of the bands I do like. and that's just some I picked on my Metalstorm profile.
