Demon of the Fall 02.06.26	was not expecting #1 to be the Bjork here. In fact I cannot recall ever hearing it... hmm interesting. Fiona Apple is well worth going the whole hog with. Nice start! "4.5/5 opening track feels like julee cruise in a nashville bar (from a canadian band??)" Oh, thanks for the heads-up. I'll seek this out for sure. Love Julee.

sr388 02.06.26	@hawks i spun the whole thing and it was super solid but didnt totally click with me - gonna give it another go this weekend cuz u have a+ taste @demon it's like experimental contemporary classical recorded for her ex-husband's drawing restraint series, he also did the cremaster series. total left field turn from her mainline discography. yeah i'm really digging fiona, she lives up to the praise i've been seeing my whole life! and for cowboy junkies, it's really only the opening song, but it feels like something that would be playing in the roadhouse, been obsessed with it. @gabba i still need to see the accompanying film! i'm definitely looking for more strong female led music, i've always been super into bjork/imogen heap but really have dove head first into the women alt vocal canon in 2026, so these are on the top of my list @ars i had no idea they did an EP together, going straight to my must listens!
