| if I really like this what else would I like?
list of stuff I think is pretty cool and would love recs for similar things haha *shoots you with a JDAM* | | 1 | | The Story So Far I Want to Disappear
love how clean and straightforward this album is, the sentimental lyrics are nice but it's the overall energy combined with the somber themes I really like. bright sounding but lyrically dismal. | | 2 | | Adrianne Lenker Songs
this is such a gentle acoustic romp of biblical proportions. the tempo is unrelenting but still so serene in its determination to lower the eyes and furrow the brow. | | 3 | | Damien Rice O
one of my biggest inspirations in music, Irish-folk driving compelling ballads or rocking anthems with stage driven effects | | 4 | | Oklou Choke Enough
I want more of this but with more consistent beats pretty much | | 5 | | Hikaru Utada Bad Mode
there's so much subtle attitude here among her usual captivating yearning vocal style, along with embracing a more realistic instrumental style, complimented with her usual j-pop status | |

01.20.26 | I just finished listening to Sam Prekop - s/t (1999). It's clean chill out jazz bossanova influenced pop with a post-rock sound to it. Produced by Jim O'Rourke. Very cool. Think you would like it.
Also check out some older Palmistry (he's new stuff sucks) and the Triad God - Triad (2019l album he produced. It's great stuff. |
