Top 12 Albums of the Decade So Far
12Saidan
Visual Kill: The Blossoming of Psychotic Depravity

Any of their albums could be here tbh. All are equally fantastic.
11Somewhere South of Here
Leave Me for the Crows

Absolutely amazing emo and it is a genre I am typically not too fond of. Pines is such a killer track.
10Greg Puciato
Child Soldier: Creator of God

Crazy mismatch of genres here and maybe a bit bloated but Greg Puciato is one of the best vocalists working today. Just an amazing performance all round. Heartfree is still one of my favourite songs of the decade. Surprised it isn't bigger.
9Hail the Sun
Divine Inner Tension

The most stupidly catchy and just straight up fun album of the decade so far.
8Bloody Tyrant
Heisen Monogatari

Easily the best and most fresh sounding melodeath album in ages. Riffs super hard and love the folk influences here. Super underrated so please check it out.
7Moonlight Sorcery
Horned Lord of the Thorned Castle

Cannot wait for their new album this year. Children of Bodom but with more black metal influence so it is obviously fantastic.
6Cursetheknife
Thank You For Being Here

Super cozy shoegaze album.
5Caligula's Horse
Rise Radiant

Listened to this cos I loved the album cover and now they are one of my favourite bands ever. Not their best but some seriously killer material here anyway. The Ascent is one of their most epic songs.
4Black Midi
Hellfire

Was obsessed with this when it came out. Don't quite love at as much now but my appreciation for it hasn't dropped a bit. Really enjoy its chaotic sound every now and then.
3Deafheaven
Infinite Granite

While I do think Lonely People With Power is easily the better album, this has become a huge comfort album for me.
2Every Time I Die
Radical

The album that finally sold me on the band and now love almost their entire discography. This album just riffs so fucking hard. Will never grow tired of it.
1The Callous Daoboys
Celebrity Therapist

Easily my favourite so far nor do I see this changing. This album has Star Baby, of course it is going to be at 1.
