Sleep Token hops across different styles on the album, sometimes in the same song. Listen to Caramel, starts off as an Afrobeats song and ends up metal. So yes, it's experimental. And by the way, experimental doesn't mean weird or Avant-garde, it to me just means the vibe is switching up from song to song. Which they do often.
Gethsemane has a "Midwest emo" guitar part in it - an influence that they haven't shown us yet - switches to metal riffs in the middle and then ends with R&B/trap. So yes, this is experimental music. It's experimental POP, but experimental nonetheless lmao
considering they definitely aren't experimenting with anything, more pressing Ctrl+V thats a strange definition lol. But this is a good list. 30 reminds me of running with scissors every time I see it too. And props for 5, overlooked gem right there.
