Albums that give me nostalgic feelings

So the music you listen to when you are around 17 years old will most likely be the music you will be most nostalgic for later in life. This seems to be true for me as i do seem to be loving the music i was listening to at around 2010. That was the time i visited this site the most. Getting my new music from here, Anthony Fantano and Pitchfork.
1Destroyer
Kaputt

I remember the first time i went to Pitchfork. at that time Bay of Pigs by Destroyer was best new music. It really stuck with me as it was so much more creative as I was used to. at that time i thought Radiohead where like the only creative souls in music but I was very happy that I was proven wrong. that is where my music journey started.
2Washed Out
Life of Leisure

At that time Chillhop started to become a tiny movement. At a time where bedroom made music become more and more prominent this dreamy slowed down version of 80's music was pure bliss to me and Washed Out was my favourite.
3Memory Tapes
Seek Magic

A lot of the chillhop artists released EP's first and I was waiting for the great full length that would define the genre for years to come. I don't think that release ever really caame but this one was my favourite full length at the time.
4Fleet Foxes
Fleet Foxes

Before my new found love for music I almost exclusively listened to Radiohead as I felt these where the only artist making creative music. Their music is quite gloomy though and i feel it had part in making me depressed. So when I found Fleet Foxes that made happy music while still being creative i got into a much healthier headspace.
5Tame Impala
Innerspeaker

Watching Anthony Fantano at the time I consumed a lot of things he talked about. He didn't review this one particularly well but I was bored and had a lot of time so I checked it out anyway. It was summer then and this was my soundtrack. It's still my favourite Tame Impala record. often times when budgets increase, production becomes more in your face. which as you can see by my other favourites, is exactly what i am not looking for.
6Nujabes
Spiritual State

This one really came from this site. Unfortunately I had never heard of Nujabes until after he past away and this album was released and was very critically loved. That really opened a can of worms for me to find more instrumental hip hop. even though I probably started at it's peak.
7Deerhunter
Microcastle

I was daunted trying to get into Deerhunter. The weird cover and strange video for Agoraphobia. Also art rock might have been a step to far for me? But the song Never Stops got stuck in my head and I kept trying it until I fell in love with it.
8Bibio
Ambivalence Avenue

More bedroom music. This fell into pretty much the same collection as the Chillhop music I was loving at the time even though this was more creative then that. It is one of my favourites and would rank near the top if I would have to rank these albums.
9Death Cab for Cutie
Transatlanticism

I remember watching MTV when the music video for Crooked Teeth came on and I was surprised I actually liked something that was on MTV. Later I searched what else they made. The emotional journey Transatlanticism took me on was incredible. It was like the record to put on when I was feeling down.
10M83
Saturdays=Youth

Pretty much the same dream pop I loved but with a higher budget and more effects to create a wall of sound. While the real big break came a few years later and I was excited that I knew him before he got famous, I didn't love the album as much as this one. I felt making it a double album was a mistake as it added a lot of filler that took away from the overal flow of the record. And the flow was exactly what was perfect on this record. good from beginning to end with some poppier songs making it more exciting then his earlier albums..
