10.14.25 | Was actually a bit late to the Radiohead Hype train. Started listening to them in 2022. |

10.14.25 | I actually have no beef about In Rainbows at #1 but I will not tolerate such slander of The Bends |
JMNewcomer25
10.14.25 | @thycross not slander at all bro. 74/100 is still a 4/5. Fantastic record. Just feel that everything that came after (with the exception of King of Limbs) was far more incentive and interesting musically. Album still has not a single bad song |

10.14.25 | 9 is 9, otherwise all permutations of this list are correct. |
Dwap
10.14.25 | Kid A must be above Hail to the Thief and (less assuredly) A Moon Shaped Pool |
twlight
10.14.25 | 1 is 1 |

10.14.25 | Pablo Honey.
Very, very staid early 90s alt rock that paled into comparison to the American bands it was imitating at the time.
Creep is one of the most iconic songs of all time though.
6/10
Bends.
Evidence the band were learning their trade at a frightening rate and knew exactly what they were doing.
For us who had it at the time it remains some of me mates all time greatest album and it would be ridiculous not to have it as a contender to be fair.
The one that means the most.
10/10
OK Computer.
An absolute masterpiece. This is one of the only albums that on first listen changed everything and was a bona fide mindblower.
I played it recently and it is still absolutely incredible.
A top 3 greatest of all time.
10/10
Kid A
Writers block, being granted artistic freedom while shackled by fame created this, the millennials favourite.
Truth be told in 2000 a lot of people and I mean a lot thought of people thought it was complete wank and were desperate for a return to the Bends type stuff.
The one that stands out on its own.
8/10
Amnesiac
As above.
Has aged well.
6/10
Hail to the Thief
One that tried to harken back to earlier stylings while pushing things forward but got bogged down in too much unnecessary twaddle and ultimately dragged down by the trudge.
I’d take Pablo Honey over this.
5/10
In Rainbows
The one that is a culmination of everything the band had been driving towards in the 21st Century and it delivers with aplomb.
Possibly their greatest album.
10/10
The King of Limbs
Took us all by surprise and offers up some of the bands most beautiful tunes.
A definitive underrated record.
8/10
A Moon shaped Pool
A late career album of ridiculously high standards and a complete journey from start to finish. Some of their best moments
In You I’m Lost from Present Tense is the finest few seconds they’ve committed to record.
9/10

10.14.25 | Great band, Free Palestine |

10.14.25 | Perfect summary zak.
The Bends to Kid A is still arguably the ultimate three album evolution, as well as three album run in terms of pure quality, that there's been.
In Rainbows is great but still only an (admittedly well executed) addendum to that run that proved, yes, they still had some magic. |
zakalwe
10.14.25 | Yep. Bends to Kid A in terms of a 5yr creative bent is hard to argue with. |

10.14.25 | Hail to the Thief is waaaay too high
The Bends are waaaay too low |

10.14.25 | I’ll say I just don’t enjoy the Bends nearly as much as the next few albums. There’s some songs that I love like the closing track (really indicative of what they were going to sound like on OK) but there’s a lot of 90’s alt done to death in the center that I can take or leave. Might be personal because I used to work at a pub in my hometown and I had to hear High and Dry about 20 times a week. I should give it another try sometime and see if things change. |
DoofDoof
10.14.25 | I've come full circle to really liking High and Dry again |
zakalwe
10.14.25 | The Bends is the one that soars. Especially the title track.
High and Dry is very 90s innit. |
RVAHC13
10.14.25 | OK Computer sounds 90’s to me too, just more in that electronic infused latter 90’s sound (kinda like Dido’s “Thank You”). Everything on the Bends I feel like I could’ve heard somewhere else but OK Computer to this day sounds very nuanced and unique. Even though I wouldn’t call it my favorite of theirs I can honestly say it’s their best. |
zakalwe
10.14.25 | Must add that The Smile are magnificent as well. |
RVAHC13
10.14.25 | [2] Light for Attracting Attention was a great album |
JMNewcomer25
10.14.25 | @zakalwe love all your input, man. I agree with most of your assessments tbh.
@RVAHC - "Everything on the Bends I feel like I could’ve heard somewhere else" LITERALLY that best way to describe it imo. Everything on the album is good, and SOME of it is great. But literally every song on here is something they did better on later records.
Hail To The Thief has almost no duds. I roll my eyes every time I see people shitting on it
