Ladron93: Some 2000s albums I really like listening to

SuzyC 07.20.25	Not sure I've ever heard of eleven of these bands. I did listen to Killswitch Engage once, but they didn't make me feel good at all. All these other bands, based on your descriptions, sound like they might entertain me...might look for them on YouTube.
Ladron93 07.20.25	Same. Harmony in Ultraviolet is the very few albums I love from him. Suzy, that Killswitch Engage's album gives an emotional fury vibe that some people identify with. It isn't for the majority of people. In mid 2000s, I was very into metalcore music until the latter metalcore didn't click me in early 2010s. Crystal Castles has been one of the rare electronic bands that I wasn't expecting to like it with their use of Atari 5200 and samplings from older albums. See if that's your thing. These albums on my list are the ones I go back to listen to them at times.

arthropod 07.20.25	Speaking of KE, are there cleans on 5? I recall listening to several songs from Heartache and Daylight not long ago and being repulsed by the singing.
Ladron93 07.20.25	I gave Tender Buttons a listen a year ago and I thought it was alright. If someone plays that album in the bar, I wouldn't mind it. To answer your question, I have no personal love for Broadcast, but they're okay. It's a shame that Trish passed away.

Ladron93 07.20.25	well anthropod, Alive or Just Breathing combines harsh, screamed vocals with clean vocals in their songs. Fixation on the Darkness, My Last Serenade and The Element of One are the ones that Jesse Leach screamed a bit and then used his clean ones combined. The rest of the songs give the same metalcore vibe with a bit of clean vocals.
