Sowing 07.10.25	2 and 1 were neck and neck for the top spot, and it could flip any day based on my mood It's amazing to me that Conor just owns the decade. The distance between 1 and 2 and the rest of the top 10 is appreciable.
Zac124 07.10.25	Damn, 50 feels like it came out ages ago and yesterday at the same time. It always takes me back to the start of the covid lockdown so it always feels weird to me. Great album though and is definitely their best out of the ones I've heard. Nice to see 21 here. 7 is my 1.

Love the smidley album though. shocked to see you with black metal in your top 5 tbh, will have to check out that album. Makes me happy to see someone else who appreciated that Down in the Weeds bright eyes album as much as I did. I feel like that one didn't get nearly the recognition I would have expected it to.
Sowing 07.11.25	Hell yeah, thanks for all the feedback =) There were some songs on that State Faults record that I loved, but I didn't get into the full album as much as everyone else here seemed to. And 6 is one of the biggest growers of my music listening life. I was pretty actively disappointed at first, but each spin revealed something new, subtle, and brilliant. It hit me all at once on an Autumn day in 2023, and now it's possibly my favorite Antlers album (that or Attic...both are classics). I was happy to include 21, Pitch :-) It didn't get the sput discount or anything, I just genuinely think it's that good. One of my favorite albums of that style/genre in the past 10 years. And yeah, it crossed my mind to move 2 further down just to have more diversity, but I eventually said fuck it, it is what it is. Conor is king.

Sowing 07.12.25	I always felt that Bright Eyes album was underrated. It blew me away completely, and came out right during peak covid. Lots of themes of endings/finality.

Feather 07.14.25	Would love another seahaven album. Sad how poor conor seems to be doing the last few years. Their new album was a real clunker compared to down in the weeds.
Sowing 07.14.25	Oh, Oberst... thought you meant Murphy Yeah Bright Eyes fell off a cliff with that release, and he really seems to be struggling personally. Hopefully he can rebound.

renegadestrings 07.16.25	Sowing either we share a lot, or you've shared a lot and I've just surfed in your wake. Probably the latter. Your reviews have enriched my taste in music to an alarming degree and i'm very appreciative. Illusory Walls, American Heartbreak, Leave Me for the Crows, and Peculiar, Missouri are my out of left field surprises of the decade so far. They're all just superb. Ohms is my most revisited album. Like ocean tides, Deftones consistently rise with a colossal and engrossing sound that overtakes the shore and sends lesser bands scurrying to holes in the sand.

Sowing 07.17.25	I'm glad you've found so much overlap and agreement with my reviews, renegade! Agreed about all those albums (obviously) and also that Deftones are in a class of their own. And yeah brandaao, those two are so underrated and incredible.
Willie 07.18.25	Out of fifty, there are two that I like; The Cure and Mastodon. In fairness, though, a vast majority of your list I've never even heard, so it's not like I dislike the other albums.
