01.05.09 | If you liked their Water disc, you may want to try the band The Out_Circuit, as it's somewhat in that vein.
If you liked the heaviness of The Earth Will Shake and a decent amount of atmosphere, you should also try looking into Panopticon by Isis.
Of course, if you want a band that is actually similar in a post hardcore sense, I guess you could try out Thursday, but you probably have. I don't have my music on this computer, and my head is a bit hazy from a Philosophy class I just got back from, so I can't really think of any good post hardcore matches, but there are quite a few. |

01.05.09 | yeah it depends on what side of thrice you want. for more of vheissu, try isis, deftones, or thursday. for their calmer, more ambient side try radiohead or sigur ros. |

01.05.09 | By the way, for gaslightanthem's list, Glassjaw (Worship and Tribute), At the Drive-In (Relationship of Command), and Unwound (Leaves Turn Inside You) are some of the best post hardcore bands you could listen to. |
BringHomeTheBacon

04.16.10 | An amazingly written album for sure...
It took me nearly 8 months to actually get into it but as soon as i did it became one of the albums i listen to most frequently.
Still love Artist and the ambulance, illusion of safety and identity crisis but vheissu will remain one of my top favs for sure |
