Feather 04.15.25	Not a reboot, but Saw X did a phenomenal job revitalizing a basically dead series by making a bridge movie between Saw 1 and 2. Shame that the creation of Saw XI fell apart. Series is dead now until they inevitably reboot it in 2040.

gabba 04.15.25	I hated the IT movies, but I think The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 was decent. More importantly, The Ring 2002 is probably the best remake I’ve seen.
CaliggyJack 04.15.25	It's just a hiatus. Saw makes too much money for it to be canceled completely. Most likely we'll get a 2027 release for Saw XI, but it'll most likely be completely different than it's original intention. If I were Kevin Greutert I would immediately take this opportunity to get hired to direct some Horror movies. All eyes are on him after Saw X and he should def capitalize on it.

MillionDead 04.15.25	I say that as someone who watched up to like, I wanna say Saw 6 as a kid. Even when I was like 15, I had this progressively overwhelming sense of tacky shlock from them as the movies went on but there was this nerdy black kid, I think, Reginald that let me borrow all his Saw dvds and my ass was constantly fighting boredom in my hick ass town, so I watched all of those shits. I second budgie's thoughts on the narrative. It's a mess and has tons of asspulls just whenever it wants. Not to mention that Jigsaw isn't even an interesting or well written character. Just an out an out blatant hypocrite to a comical degree.

Feather 04.16.25	For the most part I agree with everyone. Saw I was really really good. I would argue II - IV were fun, but yeah the storytelling was a mess. Everything after IV was pretty garbage, but for those who didn’t see X, I think it’s worth a shot. It does a better job creating jigsaws character than any of the previous movies did. It had me excited for XI so was disappointed to see it fell apart. Caliggy I agree, it’s bound to return at some point.

Futures 04.16.25	saw is fun because the story is a ridiculous stupid soap opera with hilarious twists. x is fun but i like 2 better and maybe even 3. i even thought spiral was pretty fun, needed a few more kills though.

BAT 04.16.25	hills have eyes 2006 had one of the best audience reactions i've ever been to, i'd say of the 2000s remake trend thaat would be the tops(dawn being the other notable contender.) and yeah the evil dead remakes actually pretty sweet need to give friday 13th remake a fresh go i haven't seen it since like 2009? or whenever it came out, for whatever reason just never made it into my usual friday the 13th rotation buut i did pick up the bluray last year
Futures 04.16.25	oh yeah 70's body snatchers i didn't think of but def one of the best. just in general amazing movie. also the ring, i like the original but the verbinski one just has so much more going on and a better atmosphere. both two of my fav horror movies period.
