NudeTayne 03.15.25	she's about 9 months old but she gets hostile for seemingly no reason, hates being touched anywhere down her spine, chews almost anything she can. when she's sweet she's really sweeet and I adore her but idk if I'm the right caretaker for her. I also have a husky and she's really slow at learning the cat wants personal space sometimes and it stresses the cat out. I want to believe its just something that takes some time and patience, I've only had the cat for about 4 months anyway and have taken her for vet visits and to get spayed and vaccinated.

tectactoe 03.18.25	Feel you. Left the kids at grandma's on Sunday and went day-drinking (and eating) with some friends at a couple local pubs and breweries in Detroit and Hamtramck. Tons of fun, but man did I feel like ass the next morning. Wasn't ever even "drunk" because we spaced the drinking out quite a bit over the course of the day and ate plenty of food and walked a lot in between. Getting old sucks.

tectactoe 03.18.25	Nice. Detroit gets a bad rap (sometimes rightfully so) but that that area is not bad. I mean don't go wandering down any sketch-ass alleys and you'll certainly see some homeless people lol but nothing to really worry about (especially if an event is going on). Lots of lots behind the Fillmore and in the surrounding areas but people start charging crazy amounts ($20+) if they know an event is going on sometimes. You can park at the MGM Parking Garage for free and the walk to Fillmore isn't far at all. Between the area just south of the Fillmore and the Corktown area a few blocks west there are lots of cool places to eat and/or grab some beers. Not sure if you were planning to eat/drink beforehand but some places I like down there are Mudgie's, Lager House, The Brakeman, Checker Bar, Grand Trunk Pub, Bobcat Bonnie's, Frita Batidos. Though if I had to recommend one and only one place to grab a quick bite down there, I'd suggest Bucharest Grill. Their chicken shawarma is absolutely fire.
