LucretiaMyReflection 01.16.25	I want to say the first thing I saw was Lost Highway when I was in high school. I don't know how to explain it without sounding hyperbolic or pretentious, but it altered something in my brain. I immediately bought Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, and Elephant Man on DVD and watched it all.

It's a beautiful thing, and a real comfort when dealing with a loss like this. I am so grateful for the way that his work touched my life and in some cases even helped me change for the better. And I've bonded with so many special people while discussing him and his contributions to art. I will miss him so, so much.
