Chat Pile, I fucking love that album, and think you must have missed the point or just don't enjoy it, which is fine. The production serves the songs.
Periphery I quickly checked out the other day and to me, they sound very false, like someone's copying someone else's interpretation of anger and emotion. The sound is very good up front but there's nothing beneath it.
Blackgaze to me is extremely boring and lame.
I also can't get into JPEG Mafia, sounds forced to me.
Coldplay X&Y I didn't mind it when it came out, but remember thinking they played it too safe.
