Top 10 Songs Of 08

Basically, a look at the songs that meant most to me last year.
1Thrice
Daedalus

The best song they've done. End of.
2The Mars Volta
Goliath

7 minutes of prog insanity that actually has an aim, but just takes the scenic route.
3Weezer
Pork and Beans

The song with the best chorus of the year, and it has a great video.
4City and Colour
Waiting..

Beautifully melancholy, yet uplifting. Acoustic music doesn't get much better than this.
5The King Blues
My Boulder

Another song with an absolutely huge chorus that just begs to be shouted from the top of your lungs.
6Biffy Clyro
Mountains

Such a catchy hook, from such a great band.
7Cancer Bats
Pray For Darkness

The year's most mosh-worthy song.
8Kanye West
Heartless

The song that rescued "808's and Heartbreaks" for me. Awesome production, and the only song on the album where his vocals don't get really irritating. Also it has the line "How could you be so Dr. Evil". 'Nuff said.
9Envy
Isolation of a Light Source
10The Lonely Island
Jizz In My Pants
