Mega Drive's albums I like
I'm not obsessed with synthwave lately. Mega Drive produced some albums I like in the past and I wasn't disappointed to listen to his albums again. | | 1 | | Mega Drive 200XAD
2023
Three fave songs: Persona Sync, Threat Signal Loss and Ctrl Alt Dissonance
The intro song is just a cinematic feel and he nailed it. Then the second song of each album starts with a fast-paced rhythm and later one song (Ctrl Alt Dissonance as an example) is like a scene of the main character is feeling sad to what he has done, reflecting his own bounty hunter's actions. | | 2 | | Mega Drive 198XAD
2014
I think this is considered to be a classic album. I'm not sure if he thinks that way personally.

NARC and Osaka Sewers alone helped me through so many hours of crunch.
Have you checked Gothic Engine by Dan Terminus? | Ladron93
07.28.24 | Huh, 2>4>1>3>5>6 (Encoder)? I like that.
Nice. There's so many nice songs in 198XAD that I couldn't name them all in the list.
I've never heard of Dan Terminus' latest album. I did hear his albums before, except Last Call for All Passengers.
I don't know if I'm enthusiastic to give it a listen. Maybe. *sighs* I'm inclined to enjoy synthwave more when artists blend it with darkwave, like Perturbator's Lustful Sacraments or Dead Astronauts' Ghosts. | NexCeleris
07.28.24 | Our tastes are so wildly different that I wouldn't know how to convince you to give it a try. Lustful Sacraments is by far my least favorite non-comp release by Perturbator.
I will say, though, that Gothic Engine turned out to have much better replay value than Last Call and Automated Refrains, even if it's not as instantly gratifying as The Wrath of Code, which I still deem his best work. | Ladron93
07.28.24 | Oh yeah. I'm not a people pleaser.
I'll think about Gothic Engine, Nex. xP | pyroflare77
07.28.24 | Check out Steel Force for basically more bonus Mega Drive content! Derivative but enough small differences to not sound like a direct clone. | Ladron93
07.29.24 | Got it, pyroflare. |
