A long time ago there was a guy I hated and despised who was invited to the birthday of a girl, I was invited too.
He was into her, like many other guys me included, and had bought three albums for her.
But he left the CDs on the front seat of his car and someone broke the window to steal them. He had to come to the girl's birthday without a gift and explain the whole story. The fact that he pretended to have bought three albums was sure going to make it less believable when I'm sure he actually was telling the truth.
So, I felt much compassion for the car breaking, the impossibility to offer a gift to a girl he fancied, and the fact that his gift was actually bigger than should have been because he was into her and she most probably wasn't going to believe him because of it.
The problem is that, I truly loathed this guy and it was a very strange feeling to feel so much compassion for him and not be able to just think "ah ah, serves you right !"
That was my story. Goodnight.
