Semi Classics

This a list with songs that I consider are classics for the given bands or in general just rock, rule, or anything. Also, hi! I expect that you listen to the ones you haven't heard and/or recommend me some music. And comment!!!
1AFI
Totalinmortal

Sweet rocking intro, top notch whooaaas! and background vocals and the typical AFI energy make this song fucking nice.
2Alkaline Trio
Radio

I haven't listened to many songs from this guys, but I have always liked the ones I heard, especially this one. I like how they restrain from using the chorus the first time and when it comes it fucking rips like a dog shitin razorblades.
3Inspection 12
Elegy

This one isn't very known as far as I know, but it's pretty good as a pop-punk mini-epic. It is also the victim of one of the most blatant cases of plagiarism I have ever heard (listen to this song at 3:40 and then listen to the song "Mi Huracan Llevaba Tu Nombre" by Panda).
4Unearth
Giles

AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! That is a direct quote of unearth's vocalist at the beginning of this song and from them on it's just a barrage of riffs designed to ground and pound.
5Streetlight Manifesto
Point/Counterpoint

If you've already heard this song you know why it's here. Ooh and the drums fucking rule.
6The Ataris
San Dimas High School Football Rules

The Ataris were so good and I hope their new album has a song that rules as much as this one. Fast, catchy, and emotional is what makes this my favorite Kris Roe song ever.
7At the Drive-In
One Armed Scissor

Cedric singing about whatever his singing sounds so right the seemingly meaningless lyrics about space(?) take value without mentioning the instrumentals are pretty tight.
8Bad Religion
I Want to Conquer the World

It starts with a great solo and other equally awesome solos are spread through the song, although it only lasts for 2:18. It's also entertaining to see Greg point at himself live when he sings about a "man of science".
9Thursday
Understanding in a Car Crash

Double hit on the drums and lives change as many of the people who love Full Collapse know.
10Thrice
Deadbolt

When I first that riff all I did was rock out. Every element of this song is locked and interwined so well. The drums and bass change while keeping rhythm tight and the guitar just keeps coming with riffs that make Dustin vocals perfect. Even the piano at the end is excellent (even when I prefer the extended live ending.)
11Blink 182
Dammit

If you say you don't like this song, well... I guess this is growing up.
12Bye Sami
Otro Dia Mas

Just listen to the melodies and bass in this song and get into this truly excellent band.
13Cap'n Jazz
Little League

I love the kinda unorthodox guitar in this song and the lyrics. The quiet part where Tim sings "Kitty kitty cat" and then the song comes back at full force left my jaw opened when I first heard it.
14Converge
The Broken Vow

This song is a total assault all the time were Converge showcase their hardcore influence. I can't decide which is my favorite part the tapping part where the drums just go insane in the background or the one where a palm muted guitar acts as a prelude to the chorus or...fuck, it all rules.
15Deftones
Digital Bath

A groovy drum beat opens this song, the verses are given an open feel with a, may I say, liquidy guitar, and Chino's voice just dominates the chorus.
16Division Minuscula
Cursi

Another of the old school mexican pop-punk bands. I think the lyrics really are an important part of the song so I guess if you don't know spanish and you'll be missing on something, but check them anyway and their melodies may caught your ear.
17Elliott Smith
Angeles

His magnificent lyrics, vocals, and guitar playing make me satisfied in everything he does.
18The Offspring
The Kids Aren't Alright

I'm pretty sure you've heard this one. It may not be that much different from other offspring songs, but this one surpasses them and makes it stand out.
19Goldfinger
Superman

In my whole life I never met anyone who dislikes this song. And it fucking rules, need anything else?
20Green Day
Basket Case

"Do you have the time, to listen to me whine?" Yes, because green day used to fucking rule (and I don't find all that bad now, American Idiot was actually pretty decent).
