1 is a bit overrated to me, I think Ants clears it easily. Still good though.
9 is 1 for me, 11 closely follows.
Also crazy to see all the Paralax II love in this list, but no Silent Flight Parliament! Color me surprised.

03.06.24 | i've always had a weird relationship with silent flight parliament. i def appreciate it more after seeing it live but its always felt kinda inorganic / stitched together to me.
also have memories from when i first got into the band where melting city would end and i'd think "damn what an anthemic closer!" and then there's another slower 17 minute track right after and yawning |

03.07.24 | white walls is a great 1. a distinct lack of silent circus though! haven't heard anything since coma honestly lol. found that really dull back in the day. i gotta jam the new stuff. had silent circus, alaska and colors on repeat in high school. definitely expanded my musical taste.
naked by the computer, camilla rhoads, shevenal take 2, ad a dglgmut would all make my list. along with the eternally underrated shevenal cut a flip which i honestly think is their best song. love the clean break so much. s/t is super fun and people should revisit it if you want some heavy btbam. live production is killer too. |
