11.29.23 | To me Blackwater Park always felt like they took alot of the diversity from Still Life and watered it down for a more straightforward and predictable sound. Still Life to me has far more personality and the songs are more varied, making it a way more interesting listen. It's always blown my mind how many people favor BWP. From a production standpoint BWP is a better album but that's about it.

09.04.24 | In what concerns to me, yeah, maybe. But I'm not completely sure of my ranking after "Watershed". I've strong feelings about two albums I listen to more recently, "Pale Communion" and "In Cauda Venenum". I love both. This is the reason why "Morningrise" and "Orchid" are so low. I need more time to settle my feelings. The problem is that I really like all their works. |
