I thought I'd be unique (not really) and list my favorite songs of the past year. |

Highway One
Soundtrack to a Vacant Life was definitely my favorite album of '08 because it was filled epic moments. Highway One is only about two and a half minutes long and can easily go unnoticed, but there was something about it that made me come back and listen to it again and again. |

Look these guys up on myspace. They are an awesome band and I Hear That Music Play is an awesome song. |

Yeah I know. Make fun of me all you want, but I really liked this song for some twisted reason. |

One of Thrice's best efforts in The Alchemy Index III-IV. Unfortunately its barely two minutes long. |

Berzerker |

The World We Live In
I was never a fan of the Killers, but this song is undeniably catchy. |
| 9 | Dirty South and Axwell
Open Your Heart
A great trance single. |
| 10 | Benn Jordan
Looking Upwards
Ok, so Pale Blue Dot wasn't what I expected it to be, but Looking Upwards is a fantastic ambient song. |
