Bands I’ve seen at Outbreak Fest 2023

Went to Outbreak Fest this year and it was honestly one of the best festivals I’ve ever been to. Below are the bands I have seen. The performances get uploaded on their YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@OutbreakFest As for this year, there aren’t any yet.
1Converge
Jane Doe

Honestly the main reason I was there and completely satisfied. Tried to get up on the stage near the end of their set but got a spinning back elbow to my jaw which knocked me for a loop. Also, they played noth-ing of You Fail Me or at least I can’t remember.
2Death Grips
The Money Store

Really surprised, even though I shouldn’t have been considering everybody I talked to at the festival was vomiting praises for Death Grips all over me, especially their live performance. I’ve Seen Footage is stuck in my head ever since.
3Code Orange
Forever

Even if I had the chance to run across the stage during their set, I probably wouldn’t have. Every member of Code Orange is just to intense and scary. Crazy onslaught like expected.
4Loathe (UK)
I Let It In And It Took Everything

The crowd was mental, just like with every other band, but this was something else. Probably has to with the fact that Liverpool is just around the corner from Manchester.
5Jesus Piece
Only Self

I already learned from hate5six that Jesus Piece brought a lot of energy, but now that I’ve seen it with my own two eyes, I can honestly say that their one of the best live bands in hardcore right now. Especially Aaron being one of the most existing frontmen to watch perform.
6Show Me The Body
Trouble The Water

Like Aaron from Jesus Piece, Julian is also an awesome live performer. But not to discredit his band-mates, there was something truly special during Show Me the Body’s set that I can’t quite but into words.
7SOUL GLO
Diaspora Problems

Glad that Pierce wore some clothes this time. During their last song, it looked like half the crowd occupied the stage.
8Machine Girl
Neon White OST 1 - The Wicked Heart

Matt was wearing a Ferrari tracksuit and jumped into the crowd, while Sean might actually be a machine because he never skipped a beat, unlike my heart probably.
9Narrow Head
Moments of Clarity

There came a point where Jacob seemingly lost his mind and started acting as intense as he probably could. Also, Carson looked like your stereotypical eighty’s dad, and it was fucking hilarious.
10Fleshwater
We're Not Here To Be Loved

A bit disappointed considering they only played like twenty minutes out of their thirty-minute slot, and they left out some of my favourite tracks from We’re Not Here to Be Loved. But still, good energy.
11Buggin
Concrete Cowboys
12Pest Control
Don't Test the Pest
