|What I’ve been listening to|
Don't know how this selection came together, but here we are.
One of the greatest records I’ve ever heard. Engaging story, stellar musicianship, and no filler to be found. To be bad that the sequel is supposed to be shit.
A Pleasant Shade of Gray
Fell asleep while listening, and yes, I get the irony. Was pretty tired on that evening. Will give it another go. Has some really cool moments, as far as I can tell.
Have listened to it many times and I actually prefer Ænima. Lateralus somehow feels longer even though it isn’t. I guess I’m just more into Tool’s Alt Metal style.
La Vie en Rose
How does almost no one know about this album? Some of the catchiest Rock music I’ve heard in a long time. I looked it up because the guitarist of Dir En Grey said that this band made him want to play guitar.
|5||The Callous Daoboys|
Almost fills the void that The Dillinger Escape Plan left, but not quite. Damn weird at times, but that's ok.
Revisited this last week and it’s as good as I remembered it. Much more enjoyable that Dance Gavin Dance. To bad this is the side project.
Seeing Means More Than Safety
I put this on every few week ‘cause it isn’t really an effort in terms of time. 15 minutes and you’re done. Hon-estly though, I don’t the album would any other way.
|Gonna have to check out 4, first time hearing about it|
Part's VI, V and VIII on 2 are great but I've always found the album to be unusually overrated. I've enjoyed Disconnected and ToF way more.
|10000 days is actually a pretty good album|
