I'm so behind on listening to new music gimme recs

Give me some neat new stuff from this year, I probably won't listen to it because I'm a lazy sack of shit but I will try! and that is what matters! I think. Here's a list of everything that I've listened to this year thus far, rec accordingly.
1Deaf Club (USA-CA)
Productive Disruption

This was alright, the kind of hardcore that I will go back to in like 5 years and be like "oh yeah, huh"
2Burial
ANTIDAWN EP

wow look at those soundscapes, they're very scapey.
3Punch Brothers
Hell On Church Street

My inner self is a 57-year old liberal who listens to npr
4Earl Sweatshirt
Sick!

good
5blue venus
nosebleed

rip to a cool local act
6Boris
W

I mean it's not great but I'm a slut for boris, so
7Why Not
VERY WHY NOT

If you like dogshit, give these young men a shot. From a halfway decent math rock band to hyperpop. Thanks dude from Hippo Campus
8Knuckle Puck
Disposable Life

I don't even remember this one to be honest, I rated it, I listened to it, but it means nothing.
9Yeule
Glitch Princess

The first really great album of the year. Found myself enjoying art-pop a lot more as of late.
10Mitski
Laurel Hell

I love some 80's pop in my Mitski, kinda shocked to see the backlash against it, but this was a fun little experiment. Should've Been Me is incredible.
11Black Country, New Road
Ants From Up There

I could not get around the hype surrounding their first album, and it actually took me a bit to get into this one. But it clicked pretty well in the end. Good for them, this is really great.
124s4ki
Here or Hell

I think I just read a Johnny review and was like sure and it made no impression whatsoever.
13Hurray For The Riff Raff
Life on Earth

I fuckin' love crystal mommies
14Khruangbin and Leon Bridges
Texas Moon

Competent musically and for getting me my nap
15Beach House
Once Twice Melody

This shit's beautiful
16Guns N' Roses
Hard Skool

A pretty big surprise from these guys, a hard rockin' return to form for rock n roll legends. This stands up with their old material pretty strongly, I was surprised. 1/5
17MICHELLE
AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS

brooklyn indie pop, if you haven't heard it, you've heard it. Good for them though, good for them.
18Vio-Lence
Let the World Burn

I'm pretty sure this was funny
19King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard
Omnium Gatherum

Ambrose should sing more. The most complete King Gussy and the Lussy Wussy record there is. Dripping Tap is one of the best songs of the year and the rap songs on here should really really not be working for me as well as they did.
20Kendrick Lamar
Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers

I wanted to love this, and by some extent I do, but considering that I've listened to it once there is something missing.
21No Pressure
No Pressure

The fact that rym has this highly rated compared to other skate punk albums is absolutely embarrassing. This is so boring
22Joyce Manor
40 oz. to Fresno

Yeah so I liked this quite a bit, I hope that doesn't show how stunted my emotional growth is
23beabadoobee
Beatopia

Yeah this is certainly bedroom pop, wish I liked it a bit more
24Black Midi
Hellfire

Something about this album, I love it. black midi has always been one of those bands I just don't get the overwhelming hype for, but this is the one that really clicked for me.
25Beach Rats
Rat Beat

Really did not expect this band to put anything out ever, but they did and it was very okay
26Boris
Heavy Rocks (2022)

I want them all to stomp on me.
Also one of the best shows of the entire year.
27King Buffalo
Regenerator

Sounds like every single King Buffalo album ever made, which is to say, good. It's good, it's not amazing or mind bending or anything like that, just really pleasant. I wish they could translate their live shows better to studio.
28The Garden
Horseshit On Route 66

Gutter punk for children
29Preoccupations
Arrangements

No one seems to be listening to them anymore, but this is a pretty good release.
30Jockstrap
I Love You Jennifer B

One of my favorite releases of the year. So fucking good
31Holy Fawn
Dimensional Bleed

I'm gonna give this one another spin. Struggled to connect to it at all, but I feel like I could love it if I forced myself too, like my ex
32The Eradicator
Forever the Eradicator

SQUASH

Shoutout to my slothy brother.
33Sorry
Anywhere But Here

You ever listen to an artist and you think they're so fucking cool but at the same time the music is just pretty alright
34Carly Rae Jepsen
The Loneliest Time

my queen
35The Smith Street Band
Life After Football

Another album I need to sit down and actually listen to. It'll certainly grow on me. I love being sad with no emotional progress over years and years.
36Titus Andronicus
The Will To Live

Man, A Productive Cough really did a number on these guys. There's a certain level of liveliness that is missing, and I hope they can recapture it once again, cause it is just making me sad.
