i am no longer a crackhead (i think)

5 months ago I broke down in a Sputnik discord about my hardcore battle with cocaine and prescription stimulant abuse, and checked myself into rehab. Since that day, I have used 0 cocaine, adderall or any other controlled stimulant. Life is good. List is digs.

Pokemon Colosseum

Now instead, I’m fucking addicted to Pokémon. I went from half to a full living dex in a couple months (AKA I have at least one of EVERY Pokémon and regional form, which is currently over 1000 different mons). Now I hunt for shinies as I patiently wait for Violet on November 18th!

Business Up Front, Party In The Back

This was my favorite album when I was 5, now it’s my favorite album when I’m 25. Life comes full circle.

Mmhmm

Rehab really puts an emphasis in getting in touch with your higher power, so I’ve been trying to do the religion thing a bit more these past few months. I still have huge misgivings when it comes to Christianity, but I’d consider myself a spiritual person. I definitely believe that the universe didn’t form from nothingness, but human deceit makes it sooooo hard to figure out what the actual truth is. But what can you do, I certainly didn’t create the universe. I’m really just trying to become a better person, and a small dose of spirituality has helped on that front.

An Evening with Silk Sonic

…but it’s no Silk Sonic.

Revolver

Truth be told, I’ve been entirely unfocused on music in the past few months, besides writing a few songs about addiction and the absolute clusterfuck it created in my life. But about a week ago I picked up my guitar again and really had a memorable experience just picking through songs I’ve learned over the years, and remembering how beautiful of an experience musicality can create. So now my desire to broaden my range of musicality has been reawakened, and I am ready to dive back in.

And the best part is I can now enjoy music SOBER. bless up
