| 10 Years on Sputnik
Hard to believe it's been 10 Years since I started my account on this site. I was a sophomore in high school when I joined up, thinking that, since I listened to a lot of music when I was a kid (mostly rock and metal), that I knew everything about music...and boy was I wrong. Turns out Sputnik made me open my eyes to a whole new world of music, not just in different genres, but also within the genres that I was already familiar with. It's because of this website that I was able to find so many of my favorite artists, as well as learning more about writing in general. | | 1 |  | Soilwork

Back when I was in high school, I didn't have a whole lot of music to listen to. I forgot exactly how I found this website, I was probably browsing the web during class at one point. But after lurking around for a bit and finding out you could make your own reviews, I decided to make an account on here. I thought I knew a lot about music so I figured that I could make some good reviews out of it, turns out I was way over my head at the time. Deathrattle Sing for Me
I will say that recently my review output has been dry. It's not that I'm done with music (I doubt I ever will be), it's more or less just...burnout I guess? I just haven't been motivated to review anything within the past few years, probably due to the fact that I actually have irl things in my way constantly. I do hope to have that drive again someday though, because it was fun. Thanks Sputnik, here's hoping to another 10 years...assuming you'll last that long. | | 5 |  | 10 Years
