What, it's not!? They're for sure one of the best on-screen depictions of Moomins. The Japanese kinda get that whole Finnish-Swedish melancholy better than most cultures. |

08.04.22 | The last time I checked it's english subtitled up until around episode 30-40 (if anyone knows where the show is fully subtitled, let me know). Just the opening alone compared to the English version is a microcosm of why I won't watch the sub, the English version feels like a 90's sitcom while the Japanese opening captures what the series goes for. |
