There are numerous reasons I could point to, as to why her overall cultural presence and what it signifies is a far greater negative than a positive, and whilst my stance sounds hyperbolic, it's one I firmly believe in. But if the question here is aimed at "the wrong audience", I'd have to ask, who exactly are the "right" audience?

I'm sure it would too, but if you're talking about targeted demographics, a successful artist appealing to said demographic would lead to a significant portion becoming fans (in the case of the "Beyhive", a scarily intense fanship). Therefore, I think a non-partisan forum, free of wider threat of being vilified for any kind of dissenting opinion, is a better place to discuss a question like this, because it quickly becomes polarizing one way or another. |
