07.31.22 | I kinda agree and I wished the film was more of them making music like a chill hangout film other than sensationalised band drama with bad editing but I like Queen and the live aid bit was awesome. A rewatch might make me change it's placement tbf. |

1. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
2. Sicario 2
3. Shadow
4. Isle of Dogs
5. Mission Impossible – Fallout
6. Shopflifters
7. Upgrade
8. Deadpool 2
9. Blackkklansman
10. Dragged Across Concrete
Honorable mentions go out to Stan & Ollie (despite not being completely accurate), The Hate U Give, A Quiet Place, Hereditary (I think Midsommar is better), Ága (because nobody would mention it otherwise), Ayka (because nobody would mention it otherwise), Burning, The Favourite (mainly because of Olivia Colman’s performance), Future World (because it showed the world that you don’t need talent to direct a movie) and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (because it showed the world that you can have talent and still direct a bad movie) |

08.02.22 | Shoplifters is great, just outside my top 10. I liked Upgrade and Isle of Dogs well enough. Sicario 2 was kind of good but inferior to the original, which wouldn’t even make my top like 6 favorite Denis V movies. Red Sparrow was crap I thought. Didn’t care for Deadpool 2. Overlord and Halloween reboot are very good moser horror movies. Spider-verse and Dragged Across Concrete were ok but far from my top 10 of the year tbh. |
