pjquinones747 06.15.22	You're right because there's melodeath/thrash inspired metalcore (All That Remains, Trivium, BFMV etc), hardcore inspired metalcore (Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, etc) and then there's the ones who came out like 5 years later than all of these that made scene metalcore...dont even have to name examples for that one.

This is the most underrated out of the middle gen easy" nah it's more like 90's to 2001 (integrity, converge, shai hulud, coalesce, botch, etc...) 2002 to 2008 (melodic metalcore) 2009-2014 (rise/scenecore) 2014 to present (nu-metaldjentcore)

pjquinones747 06.17.22	@heck KSE is definitely the rare case of both. They literally have their roots in 90's hardcore. One of the previous bands that had KSE members, Overcast, is made comparable to Vision of Disorder via Sputnik and they're similar to Earth Crisis. The audible similarities to melodeath are absolutely there as well but even if they don't sound much like it, they are rooted in both.
