Infestissumam

I dunno, this album just kinda bores me. None of it is bad by any means but nothing on it really grabs my attention but Year Zero is bloody fantastic.

Rating:
3/5

Prequelle

Half of the songs here are great and catchy tunes but the other half does not interest me really. Miasma is their best instrumental though for that saxophone solo alone.

3.5/5

Impera

Similar to Prequelle but the highs are so much higher but lows are so much lower (looking at you Twenties). Has some solid guitar solos and has Tobias Forges best vocal performance here by a longshot. Hunter's Moon is their catchiest song too and the outro to Respite on the Spitalfields is nothing but epic. Spillways is a little bit derivative of Bon Jovi but still a banger.

Rating:
3.5/5 (would probably be a 4 if it wasn't for goddamn Twenties)

Favourite Track:

Opus Eponymous

This record has by far their best riffing. Prime Mover is prime example of this. Also their heaviest release but still has their quality of hooks that are beyond catchy throughout.

Rating:
4/5

Meliora

Their all round best and most consistent record. While all other albums are lacking in some department, this one is not but also not the strongest in some areas. It has some of their best singles but all of the deep cuts here are also extremely solid with Spirit, Absolution and Deus in Absentia as examples.

Rating:
4/5
