JKing92 03.14.22	I'd say that Deftones kind of have elements of this in some of their songs (especially their more overtly Pumpkins-influenced tracks).
Colliiiin 03.14.22	Wow damn, Grivo is tight. Thanks mate. Also agree about Deftones. They've had shoegaze elements since Around the Fur and have admitted to bands like Failure/Far/Hum being v influential on them.
Senetrix666 03.14.22	I saw Soul Blind open for Drug Church the other night and they definitely fit in this list. 2 of the members were literally wearing Ride and Helmet shirts.
JohnnyoftheWell 03.14.22	excellent list, would also rec Kraus, Coaltar of the Deepers and ig early Oceansize. maybe Supercar too, though idk if they're heavy enough 1 and 2 are most definitely 1 and 2 still need to check Failure and do the rest of Cave In (was pretty underwhelmed by Jupiter, but curious to see where their styles goes from there)

Love Swirlies and Catherine Wheel. Also like Holy Fawn, Ovlov and Calm (anything Duster associated really).

Grungil 03.15.22	Excelent list. I was familiar with Hum, Shiner and Slow Crush so i ill definately explore some other bands too.
cloakanddagger 03.15.22	List rules, I like most of the bands on here. I'd recommend Holy Fawn and Loathe, although Loathe might be a bit too metalcore for a list like this but songs like Two-Way Mirror, Screaming and Is It Really You are great heavy gaze songs.

Basically post hardcore, but with some metal riffs, shoegazy textures, and sweet AiC type vocal harmonies. And yeah those Tzarina guys were super impressive live especially for a local band that just formed during the pandemic. I don't think their recordings even fully do them justice.
