TalonsOfFire 03.06.22	Thanks guys, and yes Alex that was a cool surprise. I always liked Sigur Ros well enough, but they really spoke to me starting a few years ago and I became obsessed. One of the all time greats. Same with David Bowie shortly after he died: I started doing a deep dive in his discography and loved it so much that he ended up being my most played artists or band of the whole year according to Last.fm.

TalonsOfFire 03.08.22	It’s been a pleasure, and ha guess I’ve found the right site then. But even though I discovered many bands on sput, I actually was a fan of many sputcore bands before, like Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Radiohead, The National, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, and pretty much all the classic prog rock bands. Mostly thanks to my very musically knowledgeable and prog fan dad, friends, and Wikipedia.
Masochist 03.09.22	Porcupine Tree's best song at #1. Who are you, doesn't matter, I love you. Thoughts on their new album/released songs? Also, that Cocteau Twins song ("Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires") is severely underrated, but man is it one of the best Dream Pop songs of all time.

TalonsOfFire 03.09.22	Thanks! Foxes was my last entry on this list actually, it's just gorgeous. I love everything about it and is pretty much the quintessential dream pop song for me, or that album's t/t. Arriving Somewhere is like a religious experience every time I listen to it haha. The new PT songs are great, sounding to me like a mix of Wilsons' solo albums and The Incident. Love the bass lines too. I'm sure the others songs will have some more surprises. I like that there are three other 7-9 minute long songs in the track list besides just Harridan.

Also had no idea arriving somewhere is one of your favourite songs of all time! Was this always the case or just recently? Also, super surprised Crucify Me isn't on the list. Know you love that song
TalonsOfFire 03.13.22	Arriving has always been my fav PT song. Almost anything in the top like 22 has been my #1 song at some point haha. And I decided earlier this year that Bleak is ultimate Opeth for me. 3:10-8:23 especially is like one of the greatest 5 minutes of music I’ve ever heard. I haven’t listened to BMtH or any metalcore in forever, but yeah Crucify Me is their best song.
